When a dedicated trip meets the need

There is no volume above which a dedicated vehicle is always better value than groupage. We assess whether you need your own schedule, direct loading coordination, a special vehicle body or specific receiving restrictions, and compare the alternative across the full chain.

    Many packages or one large item. We check which vehicle fits the dimensions and weight.

  • Special loading

    A specific time, site access or special equipment is needed. We take this into account before requesting a price.

  • A dedicated trip plan

    Specific loading and unloading points matter for the batch. We agree them with the carrier.

What we agree from enquiry to unloading

  1. We prepare the trip plan

    We check cargo, addresses, loading and unloading windows, access and handover method. If information is missing, we record what needs confirmation before requesting a vehicle.

  2. We confirm the option and estimate

    We show a suitable vehicle, carrier price, OZTA fee, separate work and conditions that may change the calculation. After agreement, we record scope and the next stage.

  3. We arrange cargo handover for the trip

    We confirm vehicle, time, loading method, securing and required documents. Changes in cargo readiness or site conditions are agreed before a new operation.

  4. We coordinate the journey through to unloading

    We provide agreed statuses, check route checkpoints and help arrange receipt at the unloading point within the agreed work.

How the price is made up

We will obtain a carrier quote for your route and cargo. We will separately show the OZTA fee and other expenses. After an initial review, we will tell you when the estimate will be ready. We agree the price and terms before payment.

Carrier

The carrier's price depends on the vehicle, route, load and loading conditions. We will request a current quotation and show what it includes.

OZTA

The OZTA fee for arranging transport is 10% of the carrier’s confirmed price, with a minimum of $20 per agreed assignment. If this work is already included in a paid package, there is no second fee.

Warehousing, packing, customs services, import charges, insurance and banking costs are separate.

We add loading, permits, warehouse work, customs clearance and insurance only if your shipment needs them. We show them before they are agreed. No OZTA percentage is charged on government charges or the insurance premium.

Questions about a dedicated truck

How does a dedicated truck differ from a consolidated shipment?

A dedicated vehicle's trip is planned for your batch. In groupage, your cargo travels with other goods. We compare suitable prices and terms after receiving weight, dimensions and addresses.

Can I choose the vehicle body type in advance?

Yes, tell us your preference. We then check it against cargo dimensions and weight, loading method, route and carrier availability.

When will the final price be available?

After clarifying cargo parameters and obtaining a current carrier offer. If actual weight or dimensions will be known only at loading, we state in advance which part of the estimate may change and how a new price will be agreed.

How long will delivery take?

We provide an estimated time after checking route and carrier. It depends on cargo readiness, border crossings and documents.

What documents should I prepare?

Start with a cargo description, seller invoice and recipient information if available. We clarify the exact transport, customs and permit document list for the goods and route before shipment.
