A full container or space in a consolidated one?
We compare both methods across the full chain: loading, sea leg, terminal, cargo release and onward delivery. The decision depends on cargo, ports and destination expenses, rather than volume alone.
Consolidated shipment
The cargo travels with other shippers' batches. The calculation includes receipt, consolidation, terminal operations and release of your batch.
We show both estimates with the same origin and destination if both options are available on your route.

Choosing the size based on cargo, not guesswork
Before booking, we compare each package's dimensions, total weight, packaging and loading method with the specific line's terms.
20-foot container
We check heavy cargo weight and distribution, access to the loading location and line restrictions.
40-foot container
For bulky shipments, we compare internal volume, permitted weight and container availability on the route.
Extra height
We consider a high-cube container when cargo height or stacking method matters. We check actual equipment dimensions.

After checking the route, we build an arrangement from cargo handover to receipt. For each leg, we show contractor, price, handover conditions and terminal rules affecting total cost and timing.

Port, line, container type, transshipments and documents for the selected arrangement.
Terminal
Unloading, line documents, storage, free container-use days and charges after they end.
Receiving address
After checks, we separately agree customs clearance, payments and address-delivery availability. We then determine unloading and container return conditions.
What makes up the price
The price depends on the route, equipment and the carrier's quote. After an initial review, we will tell you when the estimate will be ready. It will separately show the work, expenses and price validity period. We start after the amount and terms are agreed.
Transport and terminal
We will show the base ocean freight, terminal charges, shipping line documents and confirmed inland transport legs. We will clarify the container's free period and the rates that apply after it ends.
OZTA coordination
If transport is ordered separately, the OZTA coordination fee is 10% of the contractor’s confirmed price for the work, with a minimum of $20 per agreed assignment. If coordination is already included in a paid package, we do not charge it again.

Warehousing, packing, customs services, import charges, insurance and banking costs are separate.
Customs and other costs
Customs representative services, government charges, the insurance premium and bank fees are listed separately. OZTA does not charge a percentage on government charges, the insurance premium or bank fees. Arranging the representative's work is priced separately if it is not included in the package.

Which is more cost-effective: a full container or a shared container?
There is no universal threshold. We compare all legs, terminal operations and cargo release costs for your route. If both formats are available, we show complete options side by side.
How do I know whether I need a 20- or 40-foot container?
We check dimensions and weight of each package, packaging, weight distribution and loading conditions. Internal dimensions and permitted weight are confirmed for the selected line's equipment.
Can delivery to my address be calculated?
If the arrangement is available for your cargo and route, the estimate separately shows sea leg, terminal and transport to the address. Checks require addresses and cargo parameters; missing details are requested before the final offer.
What happens after the free period ends?
The line or terminal may charge for storage or container use. Before booking, we clarify the period's duration, subsequent rates and who is responsible for returning equipment.
When will the final price be available?
After we have checked the cargo parameters, route and current contractor quotations. Our proposal will specify the included services, separate costs, the price validity period and the next step before payment.
Can temperature-controlled goods be shipped?
This is a separate task: temperature, packaging, power supply, monitoring and equipment must be checked along the entire route. Transport terms are agreed for the goods and destination.
