How OZTA clients save on container transportation
FCL or LCL, route via Vladivostok, seasonal rates - four solutions that save money on containers.
Key number
13 m³ - the border between LCL and FCL
With a volume of 13 m³ or more, FCL is 30–40% cheaper than LCL. Below - pay only for your part in the collection container. Calculate the volume before choosing a scheme.
Seasonal savings
In December, rates fall by 10–15%
The end of the year is the low season for container shipping. Bookings in November-December lock rates 10-15% below the September peak.
Bypass delays
Vladivostok: 16–20 days without Kazakh border
Sea to Vladivostok (7–10 days) + railway to Bishkek (8–10 days). The route bypasses overloaded checkpoints in Kazakhstan - the timing is predictable.
Reducing the volume
Packaging optimization saves 15–25% volume
Professional repacking in the warehouse reduces the volume of cargo. Sometimes this transfers a shipment from FCL to the more profitable LCL - saving up to $500 per shipment.
We solve the main difficulties of container transportation
Container logistics requires the coordination of dozens of participants: line, port, customs broker, carrier, bank. We manage each of them under a single agreement.
It’s not clear whether FCL or LCL is more profitable for a specific volume
Delays at Kazakh border disrupt agreed deadlines
The final cost increases due to hidden port fees
With LCL, cargo is mixed with someone else's - risk of damage
The bank does not process the payment to the supplier in China - the money is stuck or returned
We compare both options and name the optimal one before agreeing
Alternative route through Vladivostok - no queues at the checkpoint
All-in quotation: freight + all fees + customs - no surprises
Proper packaging and insurance coverage for every LCL item
We pay from a local account in RMB within 1–2 business days. We draw up the contract ourselves
