Perishable cargo from China - temperature under control
Food, medicine, cosmetics, flowers. Cold chain from −25°C to +25°C without breaking: container pre-cooling, data logger on the route, ATP documentation, priority customs clearance.
Choose a route for your cargo
Refrigerated transportation by sea, air, road and rail - for each class of perishable goods.
- food and drinks
- medicines
- cosmetics and chemicals
From Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ningbo. The route via Vladivostok is 18–22 days, predictable timing.
- vaccines and biomaterials
- flowers urgently
- exotic fruits
Active refrigerator on board. Cargo class Cold or Frozen. From Beijing, Shanghai, Dubai.
- fruits and vegetables
- dairy products
- flowers and plants
Türkiye → Bishkek, Europe → CIS. Direct flight without overload - minimal risk of circuit breakage.
- frozen food
- meat and seafood
- large parties
From China via Kazakhstan. Reefer car up to −25°C. Suitable for large quantities from 20 tons.
Average rates and terms are indicated. The exact conditions depend on the route, volume and type of goods.
How to save cargo where others lose
Pre-cooling, ATP certificate, data logger, temperature windows - four things that decide the fate of perishable cargo.
Preparation
Pre-cooling 4–6 hours before loading
The refrigerated container must be cooled to the required temperature in advance. If you load it into a warm container, the product warms up at the beginning of the route and loses quality. OZTA includes pre-cooling as standard; Most forwarders save money on this step.
Documents
ATP certificate is required for food cargo in the EAEU
The ATP Agreement regulates the transport of perishable goods across international borders. Without a valid ATP certificate for the vehicle, the cargo will be detained at the border. We check that all carriers have a certificate before booking.
Route
Data logger for $30–50 - an ironclad argument in case of an insured event
An independent temperature recorder records data every 10 minutes throughout the route. When making a claim against a carrier or insurer, this is irrefutable evidence. We recommend it for any cargo worth $10,000 or more.
Control
Bananas and vaccines are different “windows”. Error per degree = loss of batch
Bananas +12–14°C, flowers +2–4°C, ice cream −18 to −25°C, pharmaceuticals +2–8°C. One incorrectly set degree can destroy the entire batch. We know the optimal modes for 50+ categories of goods and coordinate them with the carrier before shipment.
We solve the main risks of refrigerated transportation
In case of overload or downtime at customs, the cold chain is interrupted within 2–3 hours. We reduce the number of transshipments, book refrigerated containers in advance and process perishable cargo as a priority.
The cold chain is disrupted due to overload or downtime at customs
Cargo is delayed at the border due to missing or late ATP documentation
In summer it is impossible to find a refrigerated container at a reasonable rate - the shortage is 30–40%
If cargo is damaged, it is difficult to prove the carrier’s guilt and receive compensation
It is not clear what is more profitable for a particular cargo: sea, air, road or railway
Continuous temperature monitoring and reducing the number of overloads to a minimum along the route
We check the ATP certificates of all carriers before booking, not after
We book slots 4-6 weeks in advance during high season - we fix the rate before it rises
Data logger + extended insurance = documented cold chain and fast payout
We compare all modes in terms of timing, cost and risks - we name the optimal one before agreement

Application and cargo parameters
Indicate the type of product, temperature, volume, route. We will recommend the optimal transportation method and send an all-in estimate within 2 hours.
up to 2 hours - 02
Reservations and documents
We reserve a refrigerated container or refrigerated transport. We check ATP certification. For medicines - GDP-compliance. We agree on the temperature regime with the carrier.
1–3 days - 03
Pre-cooling and loading
Cool the container to the desired temperature 4–6 hours before loading. We control the stowage of cargo. If necessary, install an independent data logger.
1–2 days - 04
Transit, customs and delivery
Temperature monitoring throughout the route. Customs clearance is a priority. Delivery to your warehouse in compliance with the cold chain.
18–30 days
Cost of refrigerated transportation
Refrigerated transportation is more expensive than standard transportation due to energy consumption and special equipment. We calculate all-in in advance, without surprises.
- Refrigerator surcharge
- The cost of renting and maintaining a refrigeration unit. Includes power supply along the entire route and equipment maintenance along the way.
- Temperature monitoring
- Continuous temperature and humidity control. Upon completion of the transportation, the client receives a full report with a temperature graph along the route.
- Customs clearance
- Declaration of perishable goods as a priority. Verification of veterinary and phytosanitary certificates. Time limit: up to 24 hours.
- Customs duties and VAT
- Rates are calculated according to HS codes. For a number of food products, preferential rates apply under the EAEU agreements.
- Cargo insurance
- Extended insurance is a must for perishable goods. Covers damage due to temperature violations due to the fault of the carrier.
- Delivery to warehouse
- Last mile with temperature control. Transfer of cargo to the warehouse in compliance with the cold chain. Covers Bishkek and regions of Kyrgyzstan.
Sea reefer: +$800–1,500 to standard freight. Depends on the season and route.
Included as standard. Additional independent data logger - $30–50 upon request.
Perishable cargo is processed on a priority basis - we minimize downtime in the customs area.
We calculate in advance and warn about the risks of classifying atypical goods.
0.5–1% of the cost of the cargo. For lots over $20,000, we highly recommend.
The cost depends on the distance and the need for refrigerated transport for the last mile.
