The temporary storage warehouse refers to the customs procedure, and not to ordinary storage

Before moving, we check the status of the operator, the possibility of acceptance, permissible operations, the deadline and the tariff base for your shipment. This way it is clear in advance what documents and actions are needed while the cargo is in storage.

  • Admissibility of placement

    We compare the product, documents, packaging, dimensions and procedure with the rules of a particular operator. A regular warehouse does not automatically replace a temporary storage warehouse.

  • Storage area and conditions

    We check temperature, hazardous properties, safety requirements, capacity for oversized cargo and the available storage area.

  • Operations with cargo

    We will agree in advance on acceptance, weighing, inspection, photography, sampling, reloading and other actions, if they are permissible.

  • Control of deadlines and documents

    We fix the date of placement, the necessary documents and the next step in the procedure. We confirm the procedure for extension or transfer based on the specific situation.

What we agree on before and after placement

We first confirm storage availability with the operator, then coordinate the steps with the operator and customs representative. We do not promise available storage space or particular operations until the operator confirms them for the specific cargo.

  1. Checking the possibility

    We send the operator the cargo parameters, arrival date and required operations. Until the operator responds, we do not promise available storage space or a special area.

  2. We agree on the terms

    We clarify the operator’s status, acceptance rules, tariff unit, included operations and documents that are needed before moving.

  3. We arrange storage

    After agreement, we monitor cargo handover, records, seals and available warehouse operations under the agreed assignment.

  4. Preparing the next step

    We check the deadline, documents and actions for release, movement, inspection or other acceptable scenario according to the procedure.

Cost of temporary storage warehouse services

Before placement, an estimate from a specific operator is required. It shows the tariff unit, term, operations and expenses that are not included in storage.

Operator tariff and warehouse operations

The estimate will list storage, receipt, loading, inspection, weighing, photos, labelling, special zones and materials as separate lines where needed. For separately ordered coordination of this work: the operator’s confirmed price + 10% for OZTA, with a minimum OZTA coordination fee of $20 per agreed assignment. If coordination is included in the package, there is no second fee.

Other operations, storage, government charges and additional expenses are separate. Rates depend on the warehouse.

What is paid separately

  • Government payments and import taxes: they are shown separately without an OZTA percentage fee
  • Transport to and from the temporary storage warehouse: separate legs in the estimate
  • Insurance premium: only under the insurer’s terms, without an OZTA markup
  • Organization of third-party work: the price of the performer and the fee OZTA are shown separately if it is not included in the paid package

How does a temporary storage warehouse differ from a regular warehouse?

A temporary storage warehouse is used for temporary storage under customs procedures. Its status, available operations, time limits and responsibility are governed by the applicable rules and the agreement with the operator.

What kind of cargo can be placed at the temporary storage warehouse?

This is checked against the goods, code, documents, packaging, dimensions and special properties. Temperature-controlled, hazardous and oversized cargo require separate confirmation.

What does the cost consist of?

From the tariff of a specific warehouse, unit of calculation, storage period and agreed upon operations. The estimate separately shows storage, handling, special areas, paperwork, insurance and removal, if applicable.

When can acceptance be confirmed?

After checking the parameters of the cargo, route, date and documents with the operator. Availability of available space, suitable area and list of operations cannot be promised in advance.

Indicate where the cargo is located, what is in it and for how long it needs storage. We will request acceptance and tariffs from the operator. Terms must be agreed upon before the shipment is moved.
