We arrange oversized cargo transport after checking its parameters, sites and route. We then agree equipment, loading and unloading work, and estimate breakdown.
First we check the cargo and route
Length or weight alone cannot determine vehicle choice and price. We first collect cargo parameters, loading and unloading conditions, restrictions on every route leg and the roles of those responsible for site work.
The cargo itself
Length, width, height, weight and centre of gravity. We clarify whether it can be dismantled and how it must sit on the platform.
Loading location
Access, surface, gate height, crane space and unloading conditions at the recipient's site.
Journey to the address
Roads, bridges, turns and transshipments. We check which approvals and escorts are needed on the selected route.
If information is still missing, we explain what needs measuring or clarification before selecting equipment.
Transport as a whole or in parts?
Dismantling sometimes changes vehicle and route requirements. Options can be compared only after checking construction and each part's dimensions.
As a whole
We keep it assembled. We select the platform, supports, securing, loading method and route for the full cargo dimensions.
In parts
If dismantling is safe and permitted, we separately account for packaging, part dimensions, loading and subsequent assembly.
After checking dimensions and construction, we compare both options by route, work and total cost.
What makes up the price
After an initial review, we will tell you when the estimate will be ready. It will show the work, separate expenses, unconfirmed items and the price validity period. We start transport after the amount and terms are agreed.
Carrier and route services
We will show the cost of suitable equipment and transport. If a crane, load securing, escort or road permits are required, we will list them separately.
OZTA coordination
The OZTA fee for arranging transport is 10% of the contractor’s confirmed price for the work, with a minimum of $20 per agreed assignment. We do not charge again for coordination already included in a paid package.

Warehousing, packing, customs services, import charges, insurance and banking costs are separate.
What we calculate separately
Customs representative services, government charges, the insurance premium and bank fees. OZTA does not charge a percentage on government charges, insurance or bank fees.

When is cargo considered oversized?
This depends on cargo dimensions and weight together with the selected transport, and country and road rules along the route. For an initial assessment, send exact dimensions, weight, photos or a drawing.
Which vehicle will suit my cargo?
Equipment is selected after checking dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, loading method, axle loads and road restrictions. Low-bed and multi-axle options are possible, but the specific configuration is confirmed for your route.
Are special permits and an escort required?
We determine this from cargo parameters and the selected route. The offer states required approvals, who obtains them and escort-related expenses if an escort is needed.
Can equipment be shipped in parts?
If construction permits dismantling, we compare whole and part-by-part transport. Each part needs dimensions, weight, packaging and loading method. Dismantling and assembly costs are shown separately if required.
When will the final cost be available?
After the initial review, we explain how long the estimate will take. Final price depends on confirmed equipment, route, loading and required approvals. All known expenses and terms are agreed before work starts.
Can this cargo be insured?
We check whether your cargo can be insured on the selected route. Before payment, we provide insurer, risks, coverage amount, deductible, territory and duration, exclusions, required documents and damage claim procedure. The premium is shown as a separate line.
