Disassembly
Disassembling means saving
If the equipment is disassembled to standard dimensions (up to 20 m × 2.55 m × 4.0 m), special permits are not required. The cost of permits is from $500, the wait is 5–10 days. Plus, standard freight is 30–50% cheaper than oversized freight.
Permissions
Permits are expired
Special permits for the transportation of oversized items are valid for 1–3 months. If you delay sending it, the permit will expire and you will need to get a new one. We prepare the transport and issue the permit at the same time, saving up to 10 days.
Insurance
Insurance for oversized cargo is different
The standard rate of 0.3% does not work for large cargo. Correct rate: 0.5–1.5% depending on the category of cargo. One incorrectly insured flight can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Weight
Up to 10 tons - more profitable than LTL
Most shippers of large cargo automatically take dedicated transport. But up to 10 tons or 30 m³, LTL groupage is often cheaper. Dedicated transport is needed from 15+ tons or with strict time requirements.
