What is important when importing food?
Food is one of the most regulated categories. Temperature conditions, expiration dates, sanitary standards.
Temperature
Refrigerated containers and trucks with GPS temperature monitoring. From -25°C to +8°C - we select it for a specific product.
Expiration date control
We check the remaining time before shipment. For perishables - at least 70% of the total. For canned goods and dry foods - at least 50%.
Veterinary and sanitary control
Veterinary certificate for products of animal origin, phytosanitary certificate for plant products. Declaration TR CU 021/2011.
Food packaging
Hermetically sealed container, protected from moisture and contamination. Labeling in Russian with composition, allergens and storage conditions.

Tea, coffee, spices, oils, canned food - different chapters and rates. Correct classification reduces payments by 3–8%.
Duties and VAT
Rates vary: tea - 0%, coffee - 0-8%, olive oil - 5%, cheeses - 15%. VAT on products is 12%. We think for sure.
